Im wondering why when I set the My Region Setting to PEI where I’m located it always reverts back to Quebec or BC or anywhere but the right place

@MurfeeMe Are you asking about the Community page region? That happens occasionally to me and it's nothing to really worry about as it doesn't affect anything. Try clearing cache/cookies and use incognito/privacy mode or a another browser to see if it helps.

what brand and model ode of your phone? You have selected use System time? try to toggle that and see if makes any difference

Use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to change your region

Open the Settings app.
Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases.
Tap View Account. ...
Tap Country/Region.
Tap Change Country or Region.
Tap your new country or region, then review the Terms & Conditions.

Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support (CA)

How to change region on Android

Open the Play Store app.
Select the icon at the top left corner (options button) and select Account.
Click "Country and profiles" or "Language and Region" option.
Once you set up your new country, your payment method would also be refreshed.

Change your region in Windows

Select Start > Settings > Time & Language > Region.

On the Public Mobile main page it says

your region is set to ? Whatever pick a Province

I’m in PEI with a 902 area code and IPhone 12 and when I change it to PEI on the PM page it always reverts back to some other province

I’m sure it’s not life or death but it’s one of those pain in the rear things

if you change to any Region you like to chosse is nothing will be change at webiste public mobile.. everything is the same..
only for the Language English or French..

@MurfeeMe : There was a Quebec-only promo a while ago that was in English so it would seem that region may mean something. Or I have it wrong. It was a while ago.

Other than the occasional region specific promotion or plan (usually only Quebec will get these) the region the pm website is set to makes no difference. Mine usually reverts to Ontario for some reason despite being in bc.

The regional setting is based on browser cache and not IP, i think. I am able to change my region all the time and it stays without issue.

did you try another browser as well??

I had a time issue on iPhone SE. Switched from LTE to 3G and viola....fixed.

When it comes to cellular network network type, that doesn't have an effect on this website's settings.

@MurfeeMe Ah yes, this does this to me as well. I kept trying to keep it to my province but it kept switching on me occasionally.

Yeah, I don't think it really matters what province your PM page is set to really.

Although Quebec used to be advertised with slightly different prices. But looking at that now, they seem the same as other provinces.
