      <title>Transfer number after cancelled account</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I forgot to change to my new credit card and my account was cancelled. I logged in and changed it, but now it is requiring me to set up a new subscription and won’t allow my old number as an option. I want my number! Any ideas on what to do?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;I’ve repeatedly tried the “contact us” and it’s not loading&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

You need to have an active account to be able to port your number elsewhere, unless it happens to be with Koodo or Telus. You MAY have to choose the cheapest $19 plan to start it up again if you're wishing to port your number our.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With regards to the body of your comment. If your account was placed on hold, it should allow you to continue that same plan you had before. All you have to do is go to the payment section and make the payment. However, if it's saying to get a new subscription, that may be a glitch and may be an opportunity to get a new and better plan than you had before, or at least one that suits your needs. As long as it hasn't been past 90 days, you should still be able to use the same phone number. Give it a try and see what happens.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
