You have to set one of them as the primary and the other as the secondary. So for example, if you are on a call with your Telus line, your Public Mobile line will go directly to voicemail. You won't get any text messages either until the Telus line isn't being used. So when you hang up the call, moments later that text will come though. Make sense?

HI @Chalupa_Batman

what you said might not be 100% correct. With Dual sim phones, both sim cards can work at the same time

of course with calls, only one calls will be "live" and the other will be gone to voicemail (it is just a limitation with the phone's speaker)

but when you are on calls, your phone can still receive text from the other sim and you can still use data from the other sim.

I have an S23 Plus. As I said, until yesterday I was using dual SIM, but today I have two eSIMs in my phone, and only one will work at a time. Before, I could see the network of both cellular companies, but now if I turn one on, the other will shut off completely, and the phone will restart.
