This is all spoofed, spam calls. Ignore them; do not block as number is fake so you will be wasting your time.
If you do NOT recognize number - do not pick it up.

option #1...you can actually select a different cell number.

Option #2...just don't answer any calls that you don't recognize the calling number. They can leave a message if it's legit and you can call back if you want. After a few days...those calls will slow down. I get maybe 1 or 2 per month now.

I get one or two a day. You can use the Truecaller app to minimize the spoofed calls from scammers or telemarketers.

"one or two a day"...that's gotta be super annoying. Have you tried the method suggested by Yummy and myself ? Just don't answer unless you recognize the calling number. I can assure you that after a few days, those calls will taper off.

this is not a PM only issue, it happens to everyone with any provider

if you just joined PM and got a new phone number when you joined, you can try getting a different number. But honestly, it won't help much

you can also use the device feature "Silent unknown caller", but only use it if you keep all your friends on your contact list as anyone not on the contact will be sent to voicemail.

It is on my TextNow number most of the time but I like the number that I have so I just delete them. Most number are from back east. I am in the westcoast.

That totally surprizes me. I have a TextNow number, had it for 2 years or more. Haven't had more than 6 spam calls in all that time. No spam texts either. I wonder what the difference is. 🤔
