    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm still on 3G. Works fine for me. They are slowly phasing out 3G to 4G LTE.&amp;nbsp; So people have to get used to it first. The necessary processes must be in place first.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe eventually,&amp;nbsp; but not now. I'd say at this point it's your choice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Is upgrade from 4G necessary?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I keep getting texts saying I have to upgrade from my 4g account or risk losing service etc. Will this really happen? Or will they just boot me over to a 5g service eventually?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/347545"&gt;@TacoTuesday&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep on using the phone until it stops working with voice.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately, VoLTE is not "turned on" on the PM network.&amp;nbsp; Interestingly, it should be turned on for the Telus and Koodo network.&amp;nbsp; Since PM introduced VoLTE services in 2022, the phone manufacturers themselves need to turn on the VoLTE for their phones on the PM network.&amp;nbsp; Most companies have not bothered to do that for their phones.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That is why that you were offered the option to move to Telus where your Google pixel 3a would work on their VoLTE network.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
