Pixel 3a not seeing an option to add an additional SIM

Hello,

I require an additional SIM for my phone but I do not see any option to add an additional SIM to my phone. I was told to contact public mobile for this issue and was wondering how I would go about this issue. I have a physical SIM card but I am unable to add an eSIM as there is no + option next to my SIMs tab. Thank you!

you don't manually add esim yourself

instead, you download PM app , login and buy esim from Account->Purchase sim, choose esim, and let the app install it for you

if you subscribe new account, download PM app, setup a new email account and choose esim and let the app install it for you

I am trying to install an eSIM through a third party company. I am going away for travel and would like to buy one from them. My brother did not need to add his eSIM through public mobile and was able to do it through his own phone. I believe this is an option for the pixel 3a as well. I also already have a physical SIM card from public, my issue is that my phone is capable of having both SIMs and should have a + symbol next to my SIM tab but does not.

The Google 3A have a SIM and eSIM. It doesn’t have dual SIM.

So you can have the SIM as your primary and eSIM as the secondary or vice versa.
