@mills Public Mobile does not use USSD Codes.

The labs forum has been deprecated. It is not a good resource to look back on other than to see all the great ideas that may not see the light of day. With respect to data usage, android phones have a really good built in data meter. I cannot comment on iOS as I am not an iPhone user. I am sure is it equally competent. For android, we also have access to a usage meter developed by a Public Mobile customer (@IWIK) that is tailored to the 30/90 day cycle. never heard of USSD code until now! would be extremely helpful if we have it!

Wind/Freedom Mobile has relied heavily on the use of these codes. It gives customers another way to access some functions of their accounts, and Public being a self-serve carrier would likely have customers benefit greatly from them. These codes can be tedious to type in and go through the varies menus that might be set up for a specific code, but the advantage to them is the fact that custmomers can do stuff such as checking balance, activate add-ons, apply top-ups, etc. without the need for an internet connection.
