Update: Things seemed to go back to normal at about 17:00 to 18:00 last night (April 30.) Going out at 20:45 and actually using the connection, things seemed solid again with an LTE connection showing 2, 3, or 4 bars, with no sign of a "3G" connection as I described earlier. Testing was done in Napanee area only.

Connection remains good at 05:45 this morning (May 1.)

Same problem here, also Napanee. Started yesterday evening around 18:00. My daughter called me from the library saying her data had completely gone out on her phone (She's with Koodo, which is backed by Telus.) Asked me to come and pick her up so she could tether off my phone (Public Mobile, backed by Telus.) I couldn't connect to anything with data either.

Today I'm showing an intermittant connection. When it's not working I have 1 bar LTE. When it's working, 2 bars LTE, also showing a "3G" connection. (This is a 4G capable phone). Right now, it's not working and Chrome on my phone can't even reach google.ca's main page. "This site can't be reached. The connection was reset. ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"

I suspect something has gone wrong at one of Telus' towers in the area. I also see what Dunkman is seeing on the Telus outage map, ie: nothing. So maybe their tower has impaired function, but they don't see it as fully down yet? Not sure, but there's absolutely something wrong in Napanee.

Similar issue, though further northeast in Ontario. My service is slow and I'm not receiving texts when they're sent, including authentification codes for some services (like my student loans, which can only be verified with a text). This started last night when I hit my data limit during a power outage and texted myself a note (it took 5 minutes to be received). I'm in south Ottawa and while my power is back, my phone has continued to not send or receive text messages. I've already tried restarting my phone. Edit: and my account is in good standing on autopay.

there was a "Commercial Power Disruptions in Ontario and Quebec" outage last night according to Telus outage page.

I figure that "Commercial Power Disruption" means the utility electricity, which was out for approx 12 hours for me overnight. My household got our Generlink going and had Rogers Internet access, so not all wired utilities were impacted.

The Telus page also specifically says "This issue has no impact to TELUS services at this time."

Same. Also problems with service for my husbands and my phone with public mobile. Constant saying failed to send when texting. No data at all for 2 days until tonight at 6pm. I spoke with others in the Napanee and Kingston areas that said their service with Telus and Virgin Mobile and Bell were not working either even though the outage maps didn't show anything...

Also my husband cannot sign into his account at all. When he tries both on the webpage and through the app it says finish activating your account even though his account is already active and has been for a long time...and yes his account is paid for and active and he can make and receive phone calls...
