SIM for 4G camera

I currently use a 4G camera to monitor a remote property and I have an auto top up plan with Virgin Plus but I need more data and Public Mobile has a plan that would work better for me and cheaper. I subscribed to a 4G plan and ordered a SIM that I activated with my cell phone then installed in my camera BUT the camera does not connect with the PM SIM but works fine with the Virgin Plus. Can anyone explain why?

it depends if your device has the correct network bands. What model is your device?

Have Virgin plan been pure data or it was voice/sms/data plan?

The camera is from Amazon and is sold as a 4G LTE camera. Only info I can find.

The Virgin Plus plan is the entry voice and text plan with bonus 250MB data when you sign up for auto top up.

I'm also will need a data-only SIM to monitor my daugher's property. Looking for suggestions.
