Hello, trying to use a MiFi device, the Inseego M2000. Telus sells this device and it 'should' work on their network. I'm not getting an 'invalid sim' message so I don't believe this is a locked device issue. Can anyone help?

I will have to inquire with the vendor who sold it. That said, M2000 works with Telus as they sell it for commercial internet use, so wouldn't it have the necessary bands?

Unfortunately, the device doesn't allow the editing of all those entries, just APN. As you'll note from the screenshot, the devices successfully scans for networks, but selecting the Public Mobile network (it came up once) still resulted in no signal. I'm trying to find a way to upgrade the firmware. Can't think of much else to try... (Turning of 5G in an attempt to connect LTE didn't work... Telus sim card didn't work, though I'm apt to try that again with the proper Telus APN.

I can certainly type the proper APN, but that's the ONLY thing I can manually enter, not the other details (MMSC, MMS, etc...) But yet... it still doesn't work. Would we agree that the fact that it can scan the network and see the signal of the various providers (I live in Windsor so I'm even getting a pair of U.S. providers) means there's something else amiss here? The device can clearly communicate in LTE and 5G?

Something must be wrong with the device. It can scan for networks, finds Telus, Rogers, Bell, both 5G and LTE signals... but any attempts to select the network to connect fail (Network: None). It 'SHOULD' not even need that, merely reading the APN off the sim card and selecting the network automatically, but there's something getting in the way of either process, automatic or manual.

But, if compatible, would a listing of LTE and 5G networks propagate after a network scan? Because they most certainly do! (Telus, Rogers, Bell, Freedom, even U.S. carriers as I'm along the border.)

Wanted to follow-up based on all the helpful assistance that was provided to my initial question. There must have been something wrong (as predicted) with the M2000, or a signal band incompatibility. I've since acquired an inseego M3000 (Mifi Pro X), installed the Public Mobile sim card, and with a simple APN change it works instantly and without issue.
