I have just switched back to Public Mobile. I couldn't supply an alternative number while activating my e sim. It recommended I take a new number then change back to my old number on line. All I can see are new number. I've had my old number for years and don't want to change. Can this be done?

@lkelly2 have you tried going into the Public Mobile app then going into the "Account" tab, and then selecting "Transfer phone number"?

You need to make sure your old carrier that still has the number to be transferred is still active. You also will need to place the old SIM card in your phone as you will be getting a confirmation text from your old company asking to confirm the number porting. Something else you will need to provide to Public Mobile is the account number from your old carrier

you don't need the alternative number, it is just for record only, no use at all.

if you like another number, setup a VoIP app TextNow and use that number
