Can I prevent PM from using my data allocation to capture my phone usage details every night? Does this data usage get taken off my monthly amount? Is there something I can do on my iPhone to prevent this intrusion?

Data usage is reported in batches by Public, so you'll see data usage at times when you aren't using your phone. Is this what you were concerned about?

PM updates it's data usage usually mid day and late night. This is an accumulation of what you used throughout the day. Unfortunately, nothing that you can do about it or block it.

You can’t stop PM from updating your data usage but you can disable Cellular Data and connect to home or public wifi to minimize your data usage.
