I will be travelling to the United States. I have the plan outlined below. Can I make calls and text with no additional charges ? Do I need to add roaming? Thanks

The plan:

75 GB within Canada and the US Data at
5G Speed
5G Speed up to 250mbps
Unlimited Canada and US wide minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging++
Calling Features: Call Display, Voicemail, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, ano
Conference Calling

you have the plan that includes everything you need for your US trip, no additional addon to buy

your Canada US plan allows you to use your data there, and make and receive calls and text there (you can call US and Canada)

but remember, you still have to enable Mobile roaming data on your phone. When you first arrive US, you will get a text asking you to buy roaming, you can ignore that, you have everything you need already

You have to realize one very important thing. Public Mobile is a PREPAID service. Meaning you've already prepaid for this plan. Meaning there will be no roaming needed to purchase.

Your good to go no extra charges. Just enable roaming in your phone. Ensure you have a VoLTE enabled phone on PM whitelist or you might not be able to make calls.

For my experience, after you across the border to USA, you can enable the roaming in your phone, for network selection don’t use auto, choose T-mobile, then the data will work in US.

Just spent 4 months in the US with the PM 50 GB (US CANADA) plan - worked great - never a problem - I do recommend that you set your American network to T Mobile
