      <description>&lt;P&gt;As long as he is the Fido account holder, he will be able to transfer his number eventually.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suggest you proceed to activate the SIM with a temporary number. Before starting the activation procedure it's best to clear your browser's cache&amp;nbsp;and turn off any popup/ad blocker.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you are sure the account&amp;nbsp;has activated properly and you have calling/texting/data working, log back into your account and intitiate the transfer.
