Picture messages start new thread

I just started with Public Mobile using an eSIM. iPhone SE (3rd gen). When I am having a text conversation with someone and they send me a picture it comes in a different thread - like a group text. Didn’t have this issue with Telus before I switched. Any ideas?

That is something you have to figure out on your phone. Nothing to do with PM service.

Update

I decided to try a physical SIM card and deleted the eSIM. Now pictures are coming through on the conversation thread. Not sure what it was all about but I didn’t change anything else in my phone settings.

@Jtdlmc , when you were using the e-SIM was it enabled and set as the primary SIM?

Yes it was but I had my physical Telus SIM still in the phone but it was definitely off because I had ported my number. Was pretty weird, just glad the glitch is fixed because it was a bit annoying 😊
