      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently received a text message that I believed was from Freedom Mobile (though I'm a Public Mobile customer). I now realize this was a scam.&lt;BR /&gt;Unfortunately, I shared my phone number and PIN with the scammer before realizing it was fraudulent. The scam message came from the number 18254889751.&lt;BR /&gt;I'm concerned about:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Potential unauthorized access to my account&lt;BR /&gt;Risk of SIM swapping/number porting&lt;BR /&gt;Other security issues&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone from Public Mobile support please advise on:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How to immediately change my PIN&lt;BR /&gt;What additional security measures I can add to my account&lt;BR /&gt;How to place a port protection or SIM lock on my number&lt;BR /&gt;Any other steps I should take to secure my account&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is urgent as scammers have sensitive account information. Thank you for your help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
