It is a little confusing with the description of this plan.

CAN-US-MEX $29 / mo.

It says:

5G Speed
20GB Data
Unlimited Talk & Text
100 International minutes
$1.45/mo. in Public Points
PROMO: Chance to win a trip to Mexico

When I check the Terms and conditions (Unlimited Talk & Text2), it noted – “ Unlimited Canada-wide minutes include calls made and completed within Canada. Roaming applies outside of Canada. Long distance rates apply to calls made from Canada to outside Canada. ”

Nothing related to the Unlimited Talk & Text as above.

If I subscribe to this plan, my questions are:

Can I call/text USA or Mexico while in Canada at no costs?
Call/Text Canada if I am in USA or Mexico at no costs?
Would my data work in USA and Mexico?

@Dahveed I don't know why it says long distance rates apply for calls to outside of Canada, there are no extra charges with Public Mobile as it is prepaid. To call outside Canada the country needs to be one that is included in your plan, or you need to buy an add on if there is one for that country. It doesn't affect your questions though.

One caveat for voice calls when you are in the USA is that you need a phone that is approved for VoLTE by Public Mobile as there are no more 3G networks in the USA. Approved phones are on the list in this link, and any newer versions of these phones would be presumed to work also

You're looking at generic terms and conditions which cover all plans. You need to match the specific term numbers to the subscript numbers identified on the plan in question. Not all terms apply to all plans.
