It won't work in UK...you need a local sim and a cheap plan there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;added...to keep in touch with others at home, consider downloading the free voip app such as TextNow. It uses your local wifi or separately purchased data to make free calls / texts to most any number in Canada / USA.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/535067"&gt;@LPN&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That is one of the biggest disadvantages with Public mobile.&amp;nbsp; Lack of international country roaming (outside US and Mexico).&amp;nbsp; Most PM customers will purchase a travel SIM or a domestic SIM card when they arrive in the country.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unable to receive 2FA texts (from banks) while traveling on your PM cell number unfortunately.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have used giffgaff, and were pleased. 5G is standard. Includes EU roaming.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They will mail a free SIM card to you in Canada, or (preferable) you can sign up and get an eSIM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Their rates should embarrass Canadian telcos, too!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then, you can step off the plane with coverage; no searching strange airports or malls for a retailer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
