Am in mexico and wife on att and she can call canada, she shows att l, it has moviestar selected for me and i cannot call.

I changed to att and still nothing, they have 3 att listed, one is 3g, tried all 3 and i still cannot call or receive calls. Data works but i am beyond frustrated because am expecting business cals and they dont have my wifes number.

if you each have hard sims, I'd suggest you swap sims and restart cell. If it still doesn't work in your cell, something about yours isn't right. (Of course if you have esim...this will not work)

Crap, my son is on moviestar and he has setvice, i checked my settings, same pixel phone yet i have no service

if you each have hard sim,...trade sims to see if your cell works with his sim. (this suggestion won't work if you both have esim)

you can try Moviestar as 3rd choice

I tried every provider, have data, just no calling. Have no sim tool, may try that later but man i am so frustrated. The one time i need my phone i get nothing.

have data and no calling, what phone you have? try set to 3G on the network mode and test

if same, you will have to use VoIP app TextNow to make calls or use app like WhatsApp and use data

Have no sim tool, will try that later but restarted, all settings the same. Man i need service this is so frustrating.

I just swapped sims and my wife's has no service on my phone

Pixel 8 PRO XL

She has the Pixel 7, my son has pixel 6 and both of theirs work, I checked my settings to theirs they seem to be the same.

Networl at&t works and Movie star works on bothe their phones, neither works on mine, it works for data but nobody can call in or out.

Roaming is turned on

hi @Frank_M if there still a VoLTE toggle, turn it on

if not, try changing network mode to 3G

and again, use VoIp app

I see no volt toggle, tried 3g no difference, I tried every network that works on the other phones, only thing is I have a newer phone.

HUC2 your call cannot be completed as dialed is the message I get when trying to call out

What country are you calling? Can you phone any other number, to check that the problem isn't at the other end?

AM calling Canada on an Android Phone

My wife and son can call regular no issues, just on mine I get the error.

Putting the + in front worked and I can call out

Funny my wife and kid each have pixel phones and they can dial straight, also using speed dial and they have no issues.

I cannot use any speed dials because I have to put the + in front so there has to be some setting that detects that and does it automatically.

yes @Frank_M some phone will add the + by default. if it is there. could be some OS or setting issues
