      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm looking to port 2 lines from Bell to PM, one line is out of a contract, and the other is still in a contract (ending very soon). If I don't pay the bill for either line, and don't pay off the contract for one, will I still be able to port each number over (granted the phones are unlocked)? Does PM take care of "cancelling" each service with Bell after everything has been ported? Do I need to pay off anything before I move to PM, or does PM just bill me the remaining cost of the contract (~$20) and the last partial bill? Thanks!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The porting process is automatic, in that once a number is ported over, it automatically cancels your service with the previous carrier. Since your invoicing with Bell is postpaid service, you'll receive a final invoice from them after you've ported away. At that time, if you owe anything to Bell, it's your responsibility to pay them whatever is owing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hopefully that provides some clarity to your understanding.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have just gone through this with Rogers.&amp;nbsp; I had one line that was free and clear and one that had a $99.99 on it for the sibsidized phone.&amp;nbsp; I was able to port both numbers and now I have no active numbers under my Rogers Account and now they will send me a final bill.&amp;nbsp; The porting process takes care of closing/cancelling your previous account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
