    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/177159"&gt;@BKNS27&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/366974"&gt;@KD17&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whatsapp and TextNow are not Wifi Callings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wifi calling is the use of Wifi to make and receive calls with your regular phone number, in our case would be Public Mobile.&amp;nbsp; Wifi calling is transparent, no app required, as long as it is enabled by the carrier and on the device.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately, there is no Wifi calling with Public Mobile&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whatsapp is just an calling app using Mobile Data or Wifi and not considered as Wifi Calling.&amp;nbsp; Whatsapp just use your phone number as an authentication and account setup to Whatsapp&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TextNow is a VoIP app, it assigns you another 10 digits local number.&amp;nbsp; But it is not on your base carrier level so it is not considered as Wifi Calling either&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No they do not have wifi calling at Public Mobile.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Adding Telus and Koodo offers so if your with them and need this service stick with them. No one knows when and if Public Mobile will offer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/177159"&gt;@BKNS27&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;It's not a reasonable alternative in the context of the question though, and I think it just adds confusion to the conversation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TextNow and WhatsApp are effectively VOIP services, which is a far cry from WiFi calling. The benefit to WiFi calling is extended coverage for phone calls and SMS on your own mobile phone number. It's great if you live or frequent areas with poor cell reception. Sure, you could make a call with TextNow, but typically when someone is asking about WiFi calling it's because they want the continuity of their own phone number without having to deal with a secondary number and all the hassle that comes along with that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not trying to single you out per se, but it's a common response (from many) to this question, and it's just going to confuse readers.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Telus is way overpriced and Koodo frankly feels like the lower tier compared to PM. I tried it for a month just to get wifi calling and ended up switching back to PM. The payment system alone on Koodo is awful. It feels like something from the early 2000s.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only way we will ever get wi-fi calling is to continually ask for it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does PM have wi-fi calling yet?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Had to purchase a phone for my wife and went with fido so the phone would work. &amp;nbsp;Do I also have to change providers just to have a phone that works at home?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
