topic Uk Issues in Get Support

So I arranged for my family members to get PM accounts. What I did not understand was that PM does not operate in the UK… not even roaming…. Here’s how that became an issue. My son has been locked out of his Hotmail account, in order to recover it, it sends a code to his phone #, which is now with PM. As PM mobile does not work, he doesn’t get the text. He’s in the UK for a month looking for work and has emailed several firms prior to arriving. He has an eSIM with UK data plan, but it’s not using his number captured by PM.
Thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Sadly, he’s there now, and all the authenticating texts go to his PM phone number.

PM does NOT provide service outside of North America so you cannot get anything on PM number unless you have proper NA plan.
I do not understand why do you complain? No service in UK, period.

Your sun should have set up recovery at another email in addition to a phone number and access it through free wifi or IK sim.

As an average consumer it would never have occurred to me that a phone plan in 2025 would not allow roaming internationally. Your response is unnecessarily condescending… my apologies if my question frustrates you, but you’re under no obligation to respond to it.
I’m looking for potential solutions not chastisement. Honestly, I wouldn’t expect you to perform a complicated root canal, please don’t expect me to be a phone tech guru. I’m here for potential suggestions.
