Outgoing Caller ID- HELP!

Hi!

I recently moved over from Telus to Public. I called a client who didn't have my number saved and when they answered they were confused because the name was an old business name I've never used publicly. Im a landscaper and it's coming up as my old photography name. This is definitely not a professional look.. ha!

So where is this name pulled from? And how can I change it?

I have an iPhone 11.

PM does not pass the name on Caller ID, only the phone number

The reason your friends seeing a name display because the phones using some Caller ID lookup services. You have to contact those caller id services and ask them to update to your name.

If your friend using Samsung, the name lookup was done by Hiya service ( https://www.hiya.com/products-smart-call ). There are also other different lookup providers like that. But you can start with Hiya, contact them and ask them to update their database:
