In the USA, can I make calls in the USA and back to Canada?

If you have a US add on or a Canada US package, then yes. You can call anywhere in the US and back to Canada at no charge. If you have a Canada US package, you can even use your data down there just like you were in Canada.

You may need to go into your cellular settings and turn off automatic and pick T-Mobile as your provider down there and also make sure data roaming is turned on then reboot the phone.

What plan are you on?

Canada wide or Canada/USA or Canada/USA/Mexico plan?

Only the Canada wide plan, you will need to purchase the USA Roaming Add-on.

The Canada/USA and Canada/USA/Mexico plans will include calling, texting and data while in USA back to Canada.

But you will need to set the phone on VoLTE and your phone need to be on the whitelist of phones to work in the USA.
