      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good day all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just wondering. &amp;nbsp;I switched (so I believe on Thursday. lol). &amp;nbsp;With the Public Mobile SIM I can make outgoing calls. &amp;nbsp; But I only receive messages from iphone people not any android peeps. &amp;nbsp;(Just realized this may be when wifi is on). &amp;nbsp;I also never received the text to say porting was successful. &amp;nbsp;I called Rogers, and my account is still active with them. &amp;nbsp;Yet my number, and everything shows up in my Public Mobile profile. &amp;nbsp;I am able to make outgoing calls to Landlines, but don't receive any calls. &amp;nbsp;Holy Limbo! lol&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance for your assistance!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10779"&gt;@Mary_M﻿&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just signed up this morning, my port took all of 20 minutes (That is until I recieved the confirmation text message).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do remember reading on the site somewhere that it takes on average 30-60 minutes. If after you recieve the confirmation text, you may have toreboot yor phone for it to take full effect.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;EDIT: Try a reboot, otherwise you may need to PM a mod.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Exact same situation since Thursday as well. Haven't heard back from any mods since then. Best we can do is be patient. I'm sure it will be worked out eventually.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Right now because of this promotion the moderators are having a hard time keeping up and they are backloged atleast 2-3 days. I understand your frustration, I would be frustrated as well but if you think that there are probably 500-1000 people porting their number everyday and if even 10 percent of those people have issues then thats 50-100 people per day. I would say a big portion of the backlog is due to people who message the moderators with issues that they can solve themselves. (not you you definitely need their help).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Quick Question, How much information did you provide for the Port? As in, did you fill in as many of the fields as you could?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From past experience when I worked for Bell, the more information a customer could provide me for the port, generally the port took less time. (This was not the case all the time however, just most of the time.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I ported from Rogers yesterday night, and it took about 5 mins to get the pin text message, and then 30 minutes to get the port successful message.</description>

      <description>In my case, I gave account number, pin, and name. I didn't fill in IMEI as the phone Bell had on file was different than the one I was actually using, and I didn't want to introduce any confusion.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Eh...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tossed them my IMEI number, as well as my Rogers Acct. #, and I think I even gave them the pin too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sure there was likely just a hiccup, and now I am in the "little" back log of issues. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
