I have a phone plan with 1GB of data and I have fully used it up for this month. If I accidentally use more or turn on my data will I get charged more or does the data just not work till the plan renews for next month?

hi @Samantha_travis no worries, PM is prepaid and if you used up data , you won't use more until next cycle starts or unless you buy extra data add-on. Since PM is prepaid, you won't get charged extra without knowing

The data will not just work till the plan renews for next month. It's a prepaid service (pay before use) and not postpaid (pay after use).

In other words, you're safe🙂
