Any chance Public Mobile would forward incoming calls to a Toll Free number?

Hi, I have a Canadian number with Public Mobile, and I understand there are no roaming options for the Dominican Republic.

I do have access to a free toll number. Would Public Mobile allow call forwarding from my Canadian Number to my toll-free account?

i doubt any change is coming for that

but you can get a VoIP app like Textnow or Fongo. They will give you another 10 digits phone number. Then forward your PM number to the number given by the app and you can get the calls using the VoIP app

just make sure after forwarding is setup, do not allow your phone to be on when you are in US (not sure if you will be landed in US during the trip). The moment the sim sees you in US, the forwarding will be reset

You can use WhatsApp with your PM number on wifi or the local SIM data.
