PM does not have family account.&amp;nbsp; So, your 2nd account is a new account to the system, you will need another email address to setup the new account&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. after activation, there is a step to receive a 2fa text&amp;nbsp; for the first time on the sim , no workaround. So, it is better to use the phone to activate the physical sim card first.&amp;nbsp; After all activated and working, go to My Acocunt and login again, it will send the 2FA code to the sim, receive it and login. Then you can move your sim card to the tablet&amp;nbsp; (it is exactly this step make esim trouble.&amp;nbsp; Although still doable, but you will need to activate esim first, get the first time 2FA after fully activated, then go to the tablet, download PM app and buy another esim to "move" it to the tablet)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I buy a second SIM or eSIM on my PM account so I can use my Android tablet as a backup phone? I'm having problems with my older cell phone and have a VERY important conference call to make and can't trust my cell phone and don't have time to shop for a new cell phone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
