topic iMessages for iPhone in Get Support

Hi! I have an iphone and just switched to public mobile with an eSim card. I use imessages a lot and now when I got to text settings its says 'This number is registered to your Apple ID, but is not associated with this phone. You can keep using the number for iMessages until it expires.' (30 days)

Is there any way I can associate my number with my phone? Is my phone number not being used by Public Mobile? Should I worry about loosing my phone number? Is this because of eSim? Thank you

hi @AamZ

this is normal trouble after porting.

You can start with the easy fix, Reset network settings

if that does not work, then go to iMessage settings, remove the phone number, then reboot the phone and go back and re-enter the phone number to re-register iMessage
