Hello - I am going to Mexico and the Middle East this year. My phone is not esim compatible... how do I use it outside of Canada - specifically Mexico and the Middle East

Hey @lisaxmarshall

You would have to switch your current plan to one of the Canada US Mexico plans. However, you're phone will not work in the Middle East. You'll need to find yourself a SIM card in that country and use an app like TextNow. So download TextNow before you leave, pick a local number to where you live now, then when you get to the middle east, pick up a data sim card there and use your TextNow to text and make calls back home.

Mexico is ok, if you join the Canada/US/Mexico plan. But only the plan, no roaming addon

but not Middle East at all. PM does not have service outside of Canada, US and Mexico. So, you will need to use travel esim. Airalo is a good one to use for travel esim

You can use WhatsApp using your PM number for free calling and texting on wifi or data on the local SIM.

Use the approriate us-mex-can plan. You need to switch before you mobe. So check your cycle renew date. Or you can add a addon to your existing plan.

The customer has specifically mentioned a desire to use the service in Mexico. There is no add-on that provides that service, nor is there any add-on for service in the Middle East that was asked about.
