I'm thinking of switching to a more costly plan and am wondering about what happens to the payment that I have made for the current billing cycle. If I change plans before the end of the billing cycle, is a pro rata credit for whatever is left of the current billing cycle applied to the first payment for the new plan?

Thanks in advance to anyone who has insight into this.
