Iceland travel!

Im traveling to Iceland this year. Has anything changed within the last year, or am I strictly wifi use when there? I know we run off the Telus network and they have roaming capabilities, is this offered to PM as well? Has there been talk of adding roaming capabilities to PM?

Hello @Tara000

Public Mobile does not work in Iceland. Public Mobile does not support WiFi calling. Your Public Mobile number is will not work there at all. However, you can, while in Canada, download TextNow and get a local number to where you are now. Then you can purchase a data eSIM if your phone can handle one and use TextNow while in Iceland. Just leave a message on your voicemail to contact your TextNow number.

hi @Tara000 sorry, still no roaming other than US and Mexico

you can use travel esim or local data sim instead

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, my phone does not have esim capabilities. I will seek out WiFi when needed.
