Hi there, I'm currently on the 3G $15/100min/250mb plan & I've been offered a 4G $20/3gb plan.

Wondering if it would still give monthly reward points and if calling becomes unlimited?

Currently, when I've purchased a US roaming addon, it won't work...I suspect because it's 3G, so hoping upgrading to 4G, would solve that issue? If anyone could provide guidance, I'd appreciate it. Thank you

@Andyyymaann, yes you will earn 5% back in points based on whatever plan you are on. Please note, making plan changes it's recommended that you select "Change on renewal" so that you can finish off your current plan that has been paid for. If you choose "Change now" you will be billed immediately and on the new plan BUT you will forfeit any unused days/data with no chance of refund. Also, once you change your plan you will no longer be able to switch back to your old plan as it's for new customers only but given that the data and speed is low this will likely be a non issue

Calling and texting will be unlimited incoming/outgoing…your $15 plan only allows 100 minutes out going calls.

To make calls in the USA is based whether your phone have VoLTE (voice over LTE) setting so check your phone settings. In addition, your phone must be on the whitelist of phones to make calls in the USA. It is not dependent whether you are on the 4G plan but it helps.

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/volte?_gl=1*1qks5fo*_gcl_aw*R0NMLjE3MzA4MTg5ODguQ2owS0NRaUFfcUc1QmhEVEFSSXNBQTBVSFNMOEoxTTZvTlpxSGFSd0h1RlBUa2owM3pfUldrc1R2b09wVk0yNTR6cjVuMmszeWdFSlctOGFBa2JDRUFMd193Y0I.*_gcl_dc*R0NMLjE3MzA4MTg5ODguQ2owS0NRaUFfcUc1QmhEVEFSSXNBQTBVSFNMOEoxTTZvTlpxSGFSd0h1RlBUa2owM3pfUldrc1R2b09wVk0yNTR6cjVuMmszeWdFSlctOGFBa2JDRUFMd193Y0I.*_gcl_au*OTI1ODcxOTYyLjE3MjU3NTU1OTk.*_ga*MTU1NjA2MTA5NS4xNjY5NzgwMTAy*_ga_5Q4XYYJ879*MTczMzQ2NjU5MC44LjEuMTczMzQ2NjYwMC41MC4wLjA.
