Once it stops working power off the phone then swap to the PM SIM and power on.

@Dusty61 wrote:

How do I know when transfer is done from previous service provider so I can replace my old and put my new SIM card in

Hey @Dusty61

That's easy. If your old providers SIM card is currently in your phone, at the top, you will no longer see their name. At some point you should have received a text from them asking permission to port. Once you say yes, It will eventually go into SOS mode. From there, you turn off your phone, take out old SIM card and replace it with the Public Mobile SIM card and then reboot. You will see Public Mobile at the top. Once you see that, please make sure everything works. Calls in and out, texting in and out and data.
