Temporary Subscription Change

I'm traveling to the states from Canada and would like to temporarily change my plan to one of the Canada-US plans. The chatbot indicated that I could do this by selecting a 30 or 90 day plan. I just don't see an option to select that when I go through Manage my Subscriptions. When I go through the steps to change my plan, it does say it's a 30 day subscription at the top of the screen, but does that mean I will revert back to my current plan after 30 days (which is what I want) or just that the new Canada-US plan renews ever 30 days?

Just be aware that you will probably not be offered the same plan when you return if it is of lower price.

there is no 90 days plan at this time, only 30 days.

HI @Nicoleking

sorry, the 90 days option does not come often and currently, no plan has a 90 days option on your My Account.

But there is a chance you won't be able to change it back to your current plan after you change to this new plan as the plan lines up keep changing. So, pick a Canada/US plan that suits your need for your US trip and one that you can possibly stay with when you done the US trip

of course, if it is a short term US trip, you can also consider just buying the 15 days roaming bundle

and yes, you can choose any Canada/US or Canada/US/Mexico plan available on your

Also if you select switch now your plan changes immediately and you will not get money back for your previous plan. You will have the can/us plan until ou change it to something else. But the plans PM offer are usually more expensive and you can not usually select a cheaper plan

As hTideGnow suggests you may want to look at the other short term roaming add ons

Ok thanks. The chatbot seemed to imply that if I selected a new plan for 30 days, that I would just revert back to my current plan. But you're saying that's not the case?

Once you select a plan you have that plan until you change it. The US Can plan is prepaid plan every 30 days. If you select that plan you have it until you change it. And be aware that you probably wont be able to select your cyrrent plan when you return if it is cheaper.

sorry, no. after you change to the new plan , your old plan will be "gone". When you want to make change again, you will have to make change based on what available at that time.

so, there is no temporary change and revert back when you are done with the new plan
