no additional charge if you have Canada/US/Mexico plan.

calling Canada and US from Mexico are included if you have the Canada-US-Mex plan

when making calls, try:

001 <area code><7digits>
1 <area code> < 7 digits>
00+1 <area code> <7 digits> (key is to use a + in between the 00 , actual dial the plus sign, it does not mean concatenation)

Thanks for the info. My wife has freedom mobile can/us/mex plan and has just been charged extra for calling US from Mexico. Can call back to Canada free but not us from Mexico.

As said above, people just find it confusing how to make calls from Mex, try all 3 ways above and one of them should work
