Hello Community!

I purchased this service for my two kids and one phone transferred over using the e-sim option no issues. Phone worked in 2 mins transferring from Fido.

The other son's iPhone was not compatible for an e-sim that we attempted to create. Phone could make outbound calls but not send or receive texts and could not receive phone calls. I was told by Customer Service to get a public mobile SIM, so I did and installed it. I rebooted the phone and it still seems to have issues. Phone also thinks it has two sim cards?

What do I do and how do I confirm that the number was ported over from Fido as I worry that the reply test 'yes' that was required to confirm the phone number transfer never made it to Fido.

Please help with suggestions for a dad that's not an iPhone expert ha ha.

hi @Kaner

you already talked to PM support? what you described, can make outbound but not inbound, sounds more like a stuck port issue raother than esim

so, you already got the physical sim card? Go to Settings->Cellular and delete the Public Mobile esim from there

Reboot the phone and Reset network settings. Then make sure the physical sim card is set as Primary and "turn on this line" is enabled.

last, go back and ask PM support to see if port was completed
