Everything works except texting. Tried what support bot said to do. Any ideas ?

hi @Rawed iPhone or Android?

make sure OS is updated

if Android, uninstall Google Message and reboot and reinstall

if iPhone, make sure Carrier Profile is updated

If you can receive/place calls with number what it is supposed to be, try using native (NOT 3rd party) texting app.

Currently running 18.2 iOS.on both phones :

I can use data. I can make calls. I just can’t receive or send texts outside of Apples message system

hi @Rawed

if cannot send text outside of Apple message system, iMessage, it could be a problem with the phone and an Apple issue

but try testing using the format +1 <area code> <phone number> and see if it works. If it shows not delivered, press and hold the text and select Resend as SMS
