I dont understand my Plan!! Unlimited Canada-US wide minutes + 20GB Data within Canada and the US

This is the plan I have: Unlimited Canada-US wide minutes + 20GB data within Canada and the US at 4G Speed at $30. Here is what I don't get. Can I call from Canada to the US? And if I am in the US, can I call to a US number? Will I get charged roaming international fees? I think I can call some other countries, but I don't know where to check. I get that I can use data both in the US and in Canada, but I don't get the calling stuff. Can someone please clarify? Thanks!

Can I call from Canada to the US? YES!!

And if I am in the US, can I call to a US number? YES!! AND call back to Canada!!

Will I get charged roaming international fees? NO!! Public Mobile is PREPAID, you prepay for what you want.

I think I can call some other countries... NO. Can only call Canada and the US. You have to purchase "addons" to call other countries.

I get that I can use data both in the US and in Canada.. YES!!

It's basically an all in one plan. You can use it in the US like you were at home. No extra fees!

Side note, I had this plan and made a TON of calls to places in the US while I was there and did a lot of FaceTime while in the US back to Canada and buddies in the US. I got rid of it cause I don't need 2 Canada US plans. HA.

Some plans do include a certain number of minutes for calls to specified countries. If you log in to your account and look at "usage breakdown" does it show there?

Thanks for the clarification. I think this question might be weird, but I have to ask. I have 1 phone that has this plan and 1 other phone that doesn't have this plan. Can I, IN the US, call that Canadian phone number and neither of us will be charged? or will the service provider of the other Canadian phone who picked up the phone from a public mobile number be charged from their carrier service (mind u they don't have US plan)?

If I read your question correctly, If YOU are in the US and your "other plan" is with you, then no. That "other" plan would require either the same plan or a US addon be purchased.

If YOU are in the US and the "other" plan stayed home in Canada, then yes you can call them.

Please tell her sorry I called her "other". 🙂
