Going to 1.1.1.1/help tells me that public mobile only supports ipv4.

Is there a way to edit the APN settings to enable that or is it only ipv4 for now ?

@haridas , what model of phone do you have? Generally there should be an option to add a VPN.

S24 ultra, I tried using a third party VPN but I still don't get IPv6

IPv6 is the IP the provider assign you, if PM only gives you. IPv4 IP, how can an app changes that? Even it got changed, how can your phone communicate with the IPv4 network PM uses?

The real question is why do you want IPv6? There are next to no reasons why it's preferred.

for me, ipv6 is incredibly useful as it exposes public ips to servers / vpns and it even assigns public ips to device hotspot connections. This would decrease latency a ton since no more relay/routing needs to be done. Really wish Telus/Public mobile would implement it.
