Hello All,

I received a new phone and have obtained a new PM sim card ( my old phone is not compatible).

I want to activate it, keep my current phone number and active acct. Can someone give me instructions how to do this?

Do I activate using the downloaded PM app on the new phone or use the laptop or tablet?

I don’t want to mess up the activation! Have read many threads and it seems like a nightmare.

Many thanks in advance to the PM community.

Next, go into the app (or you can sign in on a browser) and go to the Account tab, from there you can update the SIM card used on your account with the number belonging to your new SIM card

Added: Forgot to ask, are you an existing customer? My above comment is for existing customers but it's not difficult to setup a brand new account if you are new to Public Mobile

then it should be very easy for you, just log in to your Public Mobile account on your app and go to the "Account" tab, then scroll down till you find "Change Your SIM Card", and you will see the screen that I posted in my first reply, then enter your new SIM card number

@Kim25 it should just peel off if you slightly bend the paper it's attached to. Companies usually use a rubbery kind of glue that easily peels off so just make sure when you pull the SIM card off the card that there is no rubbery glue still on the back. If there is you should be able to just gently rub it off.

As for the size, if you are using a newer phone then you will likely need the smallest size for the SIM.
