I cannot send text messages to android (non iPhone) users. I can receive but not send.

any suggestions?

Are you using an iPhone? Go to iMessage and see if SMS is enabled.

On your iPhone open settings:

Click: - Apps

Then, - Messages

Turn on send as text message. Click onRCS Messaging and turn it on and also turn on MMS Messaging. That should allow you to send texts to any phone.
