      <title>I want to use my phone with Public Mobile but it’s locked to Public Mobile</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a new iPhone a few weeks ago from Accurate Technologies, which is an authorized Apple reseller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They warned me that the phone was locked to Public Mobile, so I switched carriers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’m now on the Public Mobile network, and I purchased a new SIM from Public Mobile.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately, activation failed. The phone says, “SIM Not Supported” and that I should request that the phone be unlocked by the carrier.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I ask Public Mobile to do that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That's odd because Public Mobile has not been known to "lock" the phone. Go in to the phones setting to see if it actually is locked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;added...&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;You can find out if your iPhone is locked by going to &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings &amp;gt; General &amp;gt; About&lt;/STRONG&gt;. If "No SIM restrictions" appears next to Carrier Lock, your iPhone is unlocked.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The phone is from 2016 and just a year later, Telco's were no longer allowed to sell locked phones. So, with that being said, here is a link to reach out to a CS Agent. Advice them it's locked and may have been locked and sold by Public Mobile before December 1st of 2017 and you require the unlock code. There's no such thing as a network unloock code for any iPhone devices.&amp;nbsp; It is true that Public Mobile CSAs can get a Telus/Kooodo locked iPhone 7 unlocked, but they would have to submit a request on the user's behalf to Apple.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
