@Handy1 's workaround works great if you ultimately want a plan over $30. If you want something less, you'll need to port out and port back as a new customer. Lucky Mobile offers free esims and $15 plans, so for $15 you could port to Lucky and then back to Public Mobile as a new customer. A bit of a pain, but it would work.

I have contact Customer Service about this (twice) and they say it is not possible. They stated that if the plan is not shown to you, you are not eligible.

@Bcranger Public mobile has made it harder to downgrade plans and we can only char to the plans that are available to us in our accounts to change to despite what we see offered on the website . So if you don’t see it in your account you cannot change to it . Short of porting number out and back in on new public mobile account with new sim and new email . There’s only one work around to get the $35 75GB MEX roaming plan and that to downgrade to the $30 plan first if you do t already see that plan as option in your account . Then after that you can change to it using change in next renewal option which is cheaper method then porting out and back in .

No more downsizing plans!

PM changed its business model so you can go only higher and higher.
Or you have to close your current account and sign up again. Cost: new sim, new email and new number as you cannot keep old number.
