Hi, I am currently on the 40 dollar plan and am trying to take advantage of the buzzing sale of 35 a month for 75g ca-us-mex. It does not give me this option. I shouldn't have to cancel my account to get this offer. Can you please assist? @CS_Agent

Promo offers are available to new customers only.

If you do not see plan you like when you log in to your PM account then it is NOT available to you and agent is not able to sell it to you.

You would have to do an immediate plan change to a plan cheaper than $35 for it to be available to select. Then you could schedule a switch to that plan for next month.

Does switching to the $30 plan (immediate) first, then scheduling for end of month *DEFINITELY* work? I assume you'd be stuck with the $30 plan for the first month if so?

Not attached to my number that much, so I guess cancel and sign up again (have an extra SIM already if needed) if not. Kind of stupid having to do it that way IMO.

ADD: I switched (immediate) to $30, then *WAS* able to switch to the $35 deal right afterwords.
Caveat -- I do have to wait a billing cycle for it to take effect though (without wasting more money.)

Has one confirmed switching to $30 plan and back works? I foolishly switched plans for free my billing date was today, but not to the cheapest one and I am still only shown 40 45 and 50 plans. I'm at 36 now for 50gb and no us Mexico, I am debating paying forfeiting this months $36, and instantly paying $30 more to switch to the 20gb $30 plan and then upgrading to $35 with can usa mex if it will work.

Suboshi above just said that it worked. But yes, you would have to forfeit the $36 for this month.

Thanks everyone, I was able to switch immediately, and then switch to the promo for next months billing period. Very pleased. Happy Holidays and New Years to you all. May others who need it find this post as well.

Is there a way to do the plan switch trick in order to get the $29 10GB Can US MEX plan? Currently on the $36 50GB Can US plan.

@ASaraswat - You can only switch to plans that show up when you try to change subscriptions. Usually, lower priced plans will not be available to you.

Update: This plan is available for new and existing customers. However, if you have an existing plan already priced at $35/month or higher, you won’t be able to downgrade (thanks P!).

HOWEVER–there is a workaround if you’re willing to spend money or have credits. Downgrade instantly to the $30/20GB plan. Once that completes, upgrade to the $35/75GB plan instantly or at your next renewal date.

Just popping in to say that @Suboshi's method worked. I also changed to the $30 plan immediately, and this caused the special $35 deal to appear for me to transition to at the end of the new billing cycle.

I don't get why the plan is invisible to customers who already have more expensive plans. Just what was the thought process here?
