Does this plan mean I can travel to the USA or mexico for the weekend and still use my phone plan ?

without paying roaming charges?

@sunnshine correct. You will never have any additional roaming charges for as long as you are there. Just make sure you have Data Roaming turned on.

Adding: If your phone is not on Public Mobile's whitelist for VoLTE devices you may have issues with voice calls in/out but data and text will work. If you have this happen you can get away with using apps like WhatsApp or you can try manually connecting to T-Mobile's 2G signal.

@sunnshine , there are no limitations on the amount of usage while in the US and MX. You can spend an entire plan cycle on roaming and the service will work just like you were in Canada.

for the occasional weekend use while in USA, consider just getting the 15 Day US talk/text and 3GB data for $30. One thing you need to know if your cellphone is on the Public Mobile whitelist of volte enabled phones....otherwise it won't work for calling while in US.
