What are badges? I got a few and don't even know how I got them. Are they're like points?

Badges are something that PM staff award for participating on this Community. It also show your extra bonus points for helping on this Community. Here is the breakdown:

Just keep visiting the community and lounge. Chime in when you can with answers, questions, ideas etc, and as you participate, you will earn certain badges. The badges are provided to you and used by PM to track your community rewards for any particular month. Thanks for being here 🙂

those badges does not mean much. You will start with see New in Town badge, then upgrade to different level until you got to Mayor. But that is more the "fun" thing and not any use.

only useful badges are the Top 1%, 5%, 10%, 25% and 50% which means rewards points. They do it monthly but hard to tell how much effort needed to earn different level. So, just keep helping others
