      <description>&lt;P&gt;you cannot swap numbers between Public and other provider.&amp;nbsp; Porting is the only way but it will close the account of the number where it ported from&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Porting is your only "swap". After you port from Public, your account will be closed. You will start fresh at your new service provider.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/428430"&gt;@VisionDreamer&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One would think that should be 'easy' as it really only takes cooperation between 2 providers.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;And if those 2 providers are under the same parent company, should be quite a bit easier.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alas, mobile service providers are in the business of taking customers away from other providers, so they won't make it easy to accommodate such an easy requests.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Agree, it sucks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
