Can I select an option for callers to press a number prior to the call coming through to help avoid spam callers? I believe Koodo and/or Freedom have this feature.

@Bob80 Not much anyone can do about spam calls best to just ignore them , some will chage phone number but that’s dosent always work either just matter of time before that number starts getting the spam calls . Some will silence or block unknown callers too but then You need to update your contact list or avoid missing important calls from schools dr office etc . But best to just ignore it

to minimize calls from spammers...get in the habit of not answering calls from numbers you don't recognize. If it's a legit call, they can leave you a message and you can call back if you wish. Using this method, calls to my number have diminished from a few calls daily to 2 or 3 in a month.

No such option at PM.

And do not try to block every spam call as numbers you are would be blocking are most likely spoofed or computer generated.

Register your number on the government's do not call list. That way you will get less telemarketing calls

the recidivists aren't telemarketers and aren't affected by the do not call lists. They're what you call...free-lancers ! Just don't answer call call from any number that you don't recognize.
