Customer support basically recommended me to port out and in order to get the black Friday deals. I don't get why it's this tedious.

If you currently have a PM acct, the advise was to port away, then you could get a new PM sim to start a new account with the plan of your choosing. Unfortunaely, not all plans are available to existing customers any longer.

They really changed from the way they used to be here. If you need a cheeper plan you will need to look elsewhere or go through the hassle of porting out and back in. There are a few providers out there with similar or even better deals then you will find here.

They're a great plan to have for traveling PM'ers. Now, when snowbirds return home and only need the basics again...well.... now they're trapped in the more expensive plans and can't easy downgrade.

spelling
